Lincoln Home National Historic Site

Before becoming our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln called Springfield home and lived in this charming, two-story house from 1844-1861. Today, this historic site stretches for multiple blocks, encompassing the former home of President Lincoln, neighboring homes that have been preserved, and a visitor center. Join knowledgeable tour guides for a free tour of the property and see original furnishings such as their cast iron wood burning stove. This outing would be great paired with other activities in the area, such as the Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum!
